Senior Residential Developments
Baltic Park Apartments is a beautiful, 80-unit apartment development for people 55 and older, opened in 2003, located on Hightower Road in south Macon.
2009 Vineville Senior Living is a 106-unit development for seniors 62 and older located on historic Vineville Avenue in Macon, opened in 2004, and includes a renovated 1830’s mansion used as the Community Center and management office.
Pearl Stephens Village, a 61-unit apartment development, which includes the beautifully restored former Pearl Stephens Elementary School, a beloved Macon landmark for generations, opened in 2008 and was fully occupied just four months later.
Village at Blackshear is a recently completed renovation of a 64-unit multi-family development in Blackshear, Georgia. Construction was completed in late 2014.
Hunt School Village is a former east Macon school that has been renovated into 60 apartments for seniors 62 and older. Construction finished in spring of 2017.
Tindall Seniors Towers will be a 76 unit, three-story midrise for seniors 62 and over. It is the first phase of the redevelopment taking place at the site of Tindall Heights, Macon’s oldest public housing development. Construction of Tindall Seniors Towers is underway and scheduled to be completed in 2018.
Family Residential Developments
Tattnall Place, a 97-unit mixed-income development for families, is located in historic Beall’s Hill area of Macon and is only a short walking distance from Mercer University and the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
Anthony Arms Apartments, a completely renovated 60-unit development for low-income families located on Anthony Road in Macon, is a partnership between In-Fill Housing, Inc., Magita Enterprises and L&JG Development. Work was completed in 2007.
Kingston Gardens Apartments, a completely renovated 100-unit apartment development for low-income families located on Mumford Road in Macon, is a partnership between In-Fill Housing, Inc. and Magita Enterprises. Work was completed in 2007.
Colony West Apartments is a completely renovated, two-story garden style, 76-unit family development located on Bloomfield Road in southwest Macon. Work was completed in 2008.
College Square Apartments, located in Fort Valley, Georgia, approximately 25 miles southwest of Macon, is a 61-unit development completely renovated into a beautiful 1, 2 and 3 BR family apartment complex and was completed in 2009.
Prairie Summit Apartments, a 72-unit development located in Gordon, Georgia, was a seriously distressed Section 8-assisted property that has been completely rehabbed. Work was completed in 2010.
Bartlett Crossing is a beautiful 75 single-family subdivision in the heart of Macon located on the former (and abandoned) Macon Homes complex. Bartlett Crossing opened in 2011.
Felton Homes, a 100-unit Public Housing development of the Macon Housing Authority, has been transformed from a 1950’s era community into a new “green” community. Work was completed in 2011. All units now have Section 8 rental assistance.
Brentwood Place is a new 80-unit development in Forsyth, Georgia located within walking distance of the Forsyth town square. Construction was finished in late 2013. Brentwood Place was recently awarded the “Development of the Year” by CAHEC, our federal credits Limited Partner.
Other Residential Developments
Grove Park Village is a 40-unit apartment complex on Clinton Road in east Macon, opened in March 2005 in a partnership with the River Edge Behavioral Health Center for a special needs population.
Greystone Apartments is a 71 unit development in the heart of downtown Rome, Georgia. A historic gem dating from the 1930s, it is currently undergoing a $6 million renovation that will be completed in late 2015.
